Goodness Gracious, what a great start to the playoffs. For our inaugural season, we had one of the best playoff games ever. In the first game we saw Lady Lions take on Fresh for a chance to move on to the final four. The last time these two met, The Lady Lions won by one point. One extra point that is. We knew it was going to be a tough game. These two teams didnâ??t disappoint. It was a battle of epic proportions. Both teams not giving an inch. Each team only giving up one TD the entire game. As you would expect, It went into overtime. The overtime rule is not pretty. Each team get two plays to get as far as they can. Fresh was up first. They decided to play it safe, they ran the ball twice but only managed to get about 12 yards. Next up was the Lady Lions. They needed to get 12 yards to win they game. The first play they picked up about half. The next play all Fresh had to do was hold them. It was a quick pass to the left. One missed flag, two missed flags, three missed flags and she was gone. Scoring the game winner had to be the best feeling in the world. Congratulations to the Lady Lions. They advanced to take on Lace Up. In the second game it was pretty much a score festâ?¦For MHC. They racked up 42 points but to give Sugar Rush some credit. They managed to score on the very last play of the game so no shutout. Good job by all four teams. It was quite the rush. Canâ??t wait for next week. It will be great!
