Let's be honest. Everyone thought the Free Agents 5 were going to run away with this thing. Everyone that is except Altitude Sickness. When it came down to it, A.S. came to play. They were not going to lay down and die. Both teams were missing players because of the historic Nuggets championship game. People asked me to move the playoffs. Unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen. Another issue was injuries were mounting as the season dragged on. A lot of the ladies play on multiple leagues so we had a multitude of hurt players. nevertheless, that didn't stop both teams from bringing it at a high level. Things started off slow but then Free Agents 5 broke off a huge run up the side line which put them ahead. Altitude Sickness came back and put themselves ahead. It looked like Altitude Sickness was going to pull off a huge upset but Free Agent 5 got in one more score to pull ahead by 1 point. Altitude Sickness had one more drive with 4 mins left. They decided to go for it all with a deep pass. Free Agents 5 jumped the route and returned it to midfield. With a little over two mins left Free Agent 5 decided the sit on it to end the game. It was a dramatic finish to say the least. Altitude Sickness has nothing to be ashamed of. They gave the Free Agents all they could handle. Congratulations to both teams for a game well played.
